Dear Mr Masaki Miyagi,
Thank you for sending us the details of your recent record attempt for 'Number
of days of continuous film critic'. We are afraid to say that we are unable to
accept this as a Guinness World Record.
Unfortunately, we do already have a record for a similar category and the
current world record for it is: The most prolific professional blogger is
Darren Murph (USA) who had composed 17,212 individual contracted blog posts for
engadget.com as of 29 July 2010.
Guinness World Records has absolute discretion as to which record applications
are accepted and our decision is final. Guinness World Records may at its
discretion and for whatever reason identify some records as either no longer
monitored by Guinness World Records or no longer viable.
As your record application has not been accepted, Guinness World Records is in
no way associated with the activity relating to your record proposal and we in
no way endorse this activity. If you choose to proceed with this activity then
this is will be of your own volition and at your own risk.
Once again thank you for your interest in Guinness World Records.
Yours sincerely,

Dear Masaki Miyagi,
Thank you for sending us the details of your recent record attempt for 'Number
of days of continuous film critic'. We have noted your comments regarding our
decision to reject your claim, and have discussed your case further.
While we certainly do not underestimate your proposal, we do however think that
this item is a little too specialised for a body of reference as general as
ours. We receive many thousands of record claims every year and we think you
will appreciate that we are bound to favour those which reflect the greatest
interest.
Therefore our initial position still stands and this is our final decision.
Unfortunately, given that we receive well in excess of 60,000 enquiries and
claims per year, we regret that we will not be able to enter into any further
correspondence regarding this particular claim.
Once again, we thank you for your interest in Guinness World Records
Yours sincerely,
Gulnaz Ukassova
